Claire is a qualified psychotherapist, whose strengths include being an empathic listener
and connecting with children and teens. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
(LCSW) in New York State. Claire received her Master of Social Work degree from
University of Maryland. She also has her Bachelor of Social Work degree from
Valparaiso University in Indiana. Claire is also a nationally certified Trauma Focused
Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.
Claire has a passion for working with children, teens, young adults, and families. Claire
has specialized in trauma work with children and teens but also has extensive experience
with other concerns, such as: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, bipolar, divorce/separation,
obsessive behaviors, anger, sexual abuse, addiction, panic attacks, self-injurious
behaviors, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, school/college transitions, domestic
violence situations, foster care, custody/visitations, school avoidance, parenting skills,
family counseling, and ADHD.
When Claire is not working, she is spending time with her husband and new baby. Claire
is an avid traveler and even served in the Peace Corps after college.
