Dorothy is a multi-skilled and qualified therapist. She is empathetic, engaging and creative. Dorothy has provided hope and healing for numerous hurting and struggling people. Her gift is the energy and friendliness she shares with each person she counsels.
Dorothy is a Licensed Mental Counselor since 2006 and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors since 1998. She has served in a variety of positions in the community such as Child and Adolescent Therapist and Domestic Violence Intervention Facilitator.
She is attending the University of Rochester for her Ed.D in Counseling with anticipated doctorate degree in 2018. She operates a private practice where she provides 26-week Domestic Violence Interventions Classes for men and women. She has a Co-Parenting Class for highly conflictual parents with a focus on the children’s well-being. This intervention is especially helpful with separated and divorced parents. Dorothy provides Mental Health Therapy services for children and their families. She also specializes in Adolescents and Adults.
When Dorothy is not studying for school she loves spending time at home with her husband, children, and four dogs.
