I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing psychotherapy and providing case management services for the past ten years. I have worked as a clinician and Clinical Supervisor in both outpatient and residential clinical settings. Since receiving my MSW from Rutgers University in 2010, I have developed an even keener understanding of the therapeutic relationship. My philosophy is that clients should feel safe and nurtured as they work with a therapist. It is very important to me that therapy be not only a place for growth and change but also a sanctuary where clients can address the problems and challenges they face with someone they can trust.
I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and older adults. In my practice, I have treated clients with anxiety, depression, acculturation problems, trauma, and adjustment/life change problems. I have experience using many different therapeutic modalities and techniques. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Trauma-Focused CBT are some of the treatments that I practice frequently. I am passionate about helping people face their challenges and obstacles and helping them live their lives to the fullest.
